Apart from dairy cattle, what else does the Elbe marshes region produce?
What other resources or crops is it used for?
Cabbages, apples, cherries and strawberries. The apple and cherry blossom times are very popular tourist attractions, particularly the cherry blossoms.

Where/How do I find a Dairy/Cattle farm to visit in the UK?
I need to visit one this week for a school project. can be cattle or dairy.
Thanks
why do you want to visit a dairy farm!? If you give me a reason (e.g. school trip, research project, TV programme) I can probably give you a more specific answer of how to go about it. Also, Dairy and Cattle farms are two very different set – ups and work completly differently so it depends what you were wanting to look at.
Depends on where you live, But as a starting point I would suggest approaching your local NFU office and they may be able to point you in the direction of a willing farmer. Perhaps speak to a local milkman/ dairy maid or go to local farmers markets and make enquiries.
In most areas there are well known prominent farmers who will be used to having people look round their farms. I would say NFU or your local agricultural show committee would be your best bet. I could tell you exactly who to talk to in Cumbria but not anywhere else.
What is the price of Holstein Friesian dairy cattle ?
I live on Balkan and I would like to buy 40 of those, but from a relevant breeding place in Europe (recognized among the farmers). Can you tell me what is the best place to look for, and what would the price be per cow, approximately at least??? Thanks
Last year I raised a dairy heifer (Holstein), she was about six months old and I sold her to Marquez dairy for $107. She was top of the line, however, wining first in her class at the Orange County Fair. An average dairy heifer, especially bought in bulk would cost about half that, depending on age and quality. Good luck with the cows!!
P.S. Dairy cows are amazing animals…They are extremely curious and have distinct personality. =) I love them a whole lot!
What is the metabolizable energy content of Dried brewers yeast and malt chaffs for dairy cattle?
